Shane Rector

Al Wasl Dubai (D1) agreed terms with 25-year old American guard Shane Rector (188-82kg-94, college: Utah State). He played last season at Uhud in Saudi Arabian SBL league. He helped them to win the league title, it was the second league title for him with Uhud in a row. Rector also played for Al Sharjah earlier that season. He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asia Champions Cup GBA Qualifiers 2nd Team in 2019 when he averaged 30ppg 8.8rpg 3.5apg 2.5spg in 4 games he played in that competition.

Rector has played also professionally in TBL (Albany Patroons).
He attended Utah State until 2017 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
